This academic program takes place off campus during the Spring half term. UM faculty and other instructors teach the courses, and students earn nine regular UM credits in upper-level English classes.

SURE at UM strives to offer graduate-level research experience to all rising undergraduate students. Students will receive the opportunity to participate in full-time summer research with some of the country’s leading faculty in a wide range of engineering disciplines.
Supplemental Instruction Sessions are group learning sessions designed to reinforce conceptual understanding of course topics through interactive and collaborative problem-solving, led by an SI Leader with experience in the course.
Sweetland offers three ways for currently-enrolled, U-M Ann Arbor undergraduate students to receive writing support:
- Writing workshop
- Peer writing center
- Asynchronous Written Feedback
This 2-year program focuses on providing leadership experiences, fostering a thriving global student community, facilitating technical skill building with leading experts, and engaging them in immersive global industry partner projects.
